NY 2nd Month Sugar Futures

NY Sugar 20072026

NY sugar futures rebounded strongly on Friday, closing at 15.73, up 0.36 on the session as prices recovered a significant portion of Thursday's losses. The green candle highlights renewed buying interest after the sharp sell-off, although futures remain just below the 10 DMA at 15.85. Importantly, prices continue to hold above the 40 DMA at 14.94 and the 100 DMA at 14.81, suggesting that the broader recovery structure remains intact despite the recent volatility. The rebound from levels near 15.30 indicates that buyers are still willing to step in on dips.

The stochastics are turning lower, with %K at 42.43 below %D at 56.25, suggesting that momentum remains softer following the recent correction. However, the MACD diff remains marginally positive at 0.01, indicating that underlying buying pressure has not completely vanished despite the choppy price action.

To confirm a stronger recovery, futures need to reclaim and close above the 10 DMA at 15.85 before retesting resistance around 16.00. A break above this level would reopen the path towards 16.50. On the downside, futures need to hold above the 40 DMA at 14.94, with a break below this level exposing the 100 DMA at 14.81. For now, Friday's rebound suggests that Thursday's sell-off may have been corrective, but futures need to regain the 10 DMA to reinforce the upside outlook.

Ldn 2nd Month Sugar Futures

Lnd Sugar 20072026

Ldn sugar futures also surged on Friday, closing at 467.70, up 13.10 on the session as prices staged a strong recovery after Thursday's decline. The move lifted futures back above both the 10 DMA at 465.77 and the 40 DMA at 449.48, reinforcing the broader recovery structure. Prices also remain comfortably above the 100 DMA at 438.10, confirming that the medium-term trend remains constructive despite the recent pullback from the highs near 480.

The stochastics remain weak, with %K at 38.68 below %D at 43.68, indicating that momentum has yet to recover fully from the recent correction. Likewise, the MACD diff remains negative at -1.45, suggesting that selling pressure still lingers despite Friday's bounce.

To confirm a continuation higher, futures need to hold above the 10 DMA and then break back above the recent resistance zone at 475-480. A sustained move through this area would reopen the path towards 500. On the downside, a break back below the 10 DMA would weaken the recovery signal and expose support at the 40 DMA at 449.48. For now, the strong rebound improves the near-term picture, but futures need to build on Friday's gains to confirm that bullish momentum is returning.

NY 2nd Month Coffee Futures

NY Coffee 20072026

NY coffee futures edged higher on Friday, closing at 320.30, up 7.70 on the session as prices recovered modestly after Thursday's sell-off. The green candle highlights renewed buying interest around the key support level at 312.25, although futures remain below the 10 DMA at 327.53. Despite this, prices continue to trade comfortably above the 40 DMA at 280.42 and the 100 DMA at 285.34, confirming that the broader recovery structure remains intact. The market appears to be consolidating above former resistance at 312.25 rather than extending the correction seen earlier in the week.

The stochastics are turning lower, with %K at 44.83 below %D at 56.65, indicating that upside momentum remains subdued despite Friday's gain. The MACD diff is marginally positive at 0.01, suggesting that selling pressure has eased but that buying momentum has yet to rebuild convincingly.

To confirm a stronger recovery, futures need to regain the 10 DMA at 327.53 and then break back above the recent high near 350. A move through this level would reopen the path towards 375. On the downside, a break below 312.25 would weaken the recovery structure and expose the 100 DMA at 285.34. For now, Friday's gain suggests stabilisation after the recent pullback, but futures need to reclaim the 10 DMA to confirm that upward momentum is returning.

Lnd 2nd Month Coffee Futures

Lnd Coffee 20072026

Ldn coffee futures also moved higher on Friday, closing at 3877, up 80 on the session as prices recovered part of Thursday's decline. The green candle confirms renewed buying interest, with futures now trading just below the 10 DMA at 3882 while holding comfortably above the 40 DMA at 3584 and the 100 DMA at 3524. Recent price action suggests that the market is consolidating following the strong rally from the June lows rather than undergoing a trend reversal.

The stochastics remain weak, with %K at 43.26 below %D at 50.02, signalling that upside momentum is still fading despite the higher close. The MACD diff remains negative at -5.85, indicating that the recent pullback continues to weigh on momentum, although the pace of deterioration may be slowing.

To confirm a stronger recovery, futures need to regain and close above the 10 DMA at 3882 and then challenge resistance around 4000. A break above this area would reopen the path towards the recent highs. On the downside, a move below the 40 DMA at 3584 would signal a deeper correction and expose the 100 DMA at 3524. For now, Friday's rebound points to improving near-term sentiment, but futures need to reclaim the 10 DMA to signal that the recent correction has run its course.

NY 2nd Month Cocoa Futures

NY Cocoa 20072026

NY cocoa futures edged higher on Friday, closing at 5674, up 5.82% on the session as prices recovered part of Thursday’s sharp sell-off. Despite the strong percentage gain, the candle shows a volatile session, with futures initially pushing towards the 6000 area before giving up some gains into the close. Prices remain below the 10 DMA at 5859 but continue to hold comfortably above the 40 DMA at 4695 and the 200 DMA at 4709, suggesting that the broader recovery structure remains intact despite the recent correction. The market is holding above the key breakout level at 5325, which continues to provide important support for the longer-term bullish outlook.

The stochastics are falling, with %K at 49.00 below %D at 61.75, indicating that upside momentum has weakened considerably following the recent reversal from the highs. The MACD diff remains negative at -31.80, suggesting that selling pressure is still outweighing buying pressure despite Friday's rebound.

To confirm a recovery in momentum, futures need to reclaim the 10 DMA at 5859 and then break back above 6000. A sustained move through this area would reopen the path towards the recent high at 6458.80. On the downside, a break below the support at 5325 would expose the 40 DMA and 200 DMA cluster around 4700. For now, the rebound suggests buying interest remains present at lower levels, but futures need to regain the 10 DMA to signal that the correction has run its course.

Ldn 2nd Month Cocoa Futures

Lnd Cocoa 20072026

Ldn cocoa futures also edged higher on Friday, closing at 4152, up 4.37% on the session as prices recovered from Thursday’s heavy sell-off. The green candle highlights renewed buying interest, although futures remain below the 10 DMA at 4346, signalling that short-term momentum remains under pressure. However, prices continue to trade comfortably above the 40 DMA at 3530 and the 200 DMA at 3412, confirming that the broader recovery from the February low remains intact.

The stochastics are falling, with %K at 47.13 below %D at 59.92, indicating that momentum continues to cool after the recent rally. The MACD diff remains negative at -32.89, reinforcing the view that the market is still working through a corrective phase despite Friday’s recovery.

To confirm a stronger rebound, futures need to reclaim the 10 DMA at 4346 and then break above 4500. A move through this zone would bring the recent highs near 4900 back into focus. On the downside, a break below 4000 would expose the 40 DMA at 3530 and weaken the recovery structure. For now, Friday’s gain points to stabilisation after the sharp sell-off, but futures need to recover above the 10 DMA to confirm that upside momentum is returning.
