NY 2nd Month Sugar Futures

NY Sugar 29102026

NY sugar futures edged higher on Thursday as buying interest following the recent sell-off saw prices close at 18.95. Futures recovered from the latest low around 18.40 but remained below the 10 DMA at 19.37 and the 40 DMA at 19.20, maintaining the weaker short-term structure after the breakdown from above 20.00. The rising 100 DMA at 17.41 remains well below current prices, preserving the broader upward trend despite the recent correction.

The stochastics are rising from near-oversold territory, with %K/%D diverging on the upside at 32.65/24.32. This bullish crossover suggests that selling momentum is beginning to ease and supports the latest recovery. However, the MACD diff remains negative and diverging at -0.1774, with the MACD line at -0.0041 below the signal line at 0.1732, confirming that broader selling pressure remains intact.

Ldn 2nd Month Sugar Futures

Lnd Sugar 29102026

Lnd sugar futures edged higher on Thursday as continued buying interest saw prices close at 542.70. Futures held above the 40 DMA at 539.65 following the recent sharp correction but remained below the 10 DMA at 549.22. This leaves the market between medium-term support and short-term resistance. The rising 100 DMA at 503.12 remains comfortably below current prices and continues to protect the broader upward structure.

The stochastics are rising from near-oversold territory, with %K/%D diverging on the upside at 38.00/26.20. This bullish crossover signals improving buying momentum and supports the recovery from the latest low around 525–530. Conversely, the MACD diff remains negative at -4.3922, with the MACD line at 1.5995 below the signal line at 5.9917, highlighting that broader selling pressure has yet to reverse.

NY 2nd Month Coffee Futures

NY Coffee 29102026

NY coffee futures fell sharply on Thursday as sustained selling pressure pushed prices down to close at 276.75. Futures moved decisively below the 10 DMA at 290.71 and the 40 DMA at 284.60, while remaining well below the 100 DMA at 296.69. The break below all three moving averages confirms a deterioration in the technical structure after the recent recovery failed around 300. Prices are now approaching the September support area around 270–275.

The stochastics are falling in oversold territory, with %K/%D at 12.76/12.45. %K remains marginally above %D, suggesting that selling momentum may be starting to stabilise, although the minimal separation between the lines provides little confirmation of a recovery. The MACD diff has converged on the downside and turned negative at -1.39, with the MACD line at -1.35 below the signal line at 0.03. This bearish crossover confirms the loss of buying pressure and supports the weaker near-term outlook.

Lnd 2nd Month Coffee Futures

Lnd Coffee 29102026

Lnd coffee futures weakened further on Thursday as continued selling pressure pushed prices down to close at 3176. Futures remained well below the 10 DMA at 3301 and the 40 DMA at 3396, while the 100 DMA at 3584 continues to provide substantial resistance. The market has extended its sequence of lower highs and lower lows and moved below the September support area, leaving the psychological 3100 level as the next important downside reference.

The stochastics are falling in deeply oversold territory, with %K/%D at 10.03/16.01. %K remains below %D, signalling continued bearish momentum, although the depressed readings indicate that the decline is becoming increasingly stretched. The MACD diff is negative and diverging at -23.33, with the MACD line at -67.83 below the signal line at -44.50. This configuration confirms growing selling pressure and provides no indication that the broader decline has stabilised.

Lnd 2nd Month Coffee Futures

Lnd Coffee 29102026

Lnd coffee futures edged higher on Tuesday as limited buying interest following the recent sell-off saw prices close at 3220. Futures nevertheless remained well below the 10 DMA at 3347 and the 40 DMA at 3406, while the 100 DMA at 3586 continues to provide more substantial resistance. The market’s position below all three averages maintains the bearish structure, with prices now testing the September support area around 3200.

The stochastics are beginning to recover from deeply oversold territory, with %K/%D diverging on the upside at 21.56/13.84. The upside crossover suggests that selling momentum may be starting to moderate, although both indicators remain close to oversold levels and do not yet confirm a sustained recovery. Conversely, the MACD diff is negative and diverging at -22.03, with the MACD line at -54.97 below the signal line at -32.95, highlighting growing selling pressure and maintaining the weaker near-term outlook.

NY 2nd Month Cocoa Futures

NY Cocoa 29102026

NY cocoa futures edged lower on Thursday as selling pressure saw prices close at 5563. Futures remained below the 10 DMA at 5722 and the 40 DMA at 5783, maintaining the weaker short-term structure after the latest recovery failed below 6000. The close also fell marginally below the rising 100 DMA at 5602, placing the broader recovery under pressure and leaving the market close to an important technical support area.

The stochastics are falling in oversold territory, with %K/%D at 12.26/15.70. %K remains below %D, signalling continued bearish momentum, although the depressed readings suggest that the decline is increasingly stretched. The MACD diff is negative and diverging at -24.32, with the MACD line at -47.68 below the signal line at -23.36, confirming growing selling pressure and supporting the weaker near-term outlook.

Ldn 2nd Month Cocoa Futures

Lnd Cocoa 29102026

Lnd cocoa futures weakened on Thursday as continued selling pressure pushed prices down to close at 4255. Futures settled below the closely aligned 10 and 40 DMAs at 4339 and 4345, respectively, extending the deterioration from the recent highs around 4500. Prices remain above the rising 100 DMA at 4167, which now provides the critical support protecting the broader constructive structure.

The stochastics are falling in oversold territory, with %K/%D at 13.53/17.50. %K remains below %D, signalling continued appetite for lower prices, although the low readings indicate that the move is becoming stretched. The MACD diff is negative and diverging at -18.53, with the MACD line at -12.87 below the signal line at 5.66. This bearish configuration confirms growing selling pressure and strengthens the weaker near-term outlook.
